Option 1 — a DIY approach
Concrete lintels across the span with blockwork. Materials cost to be confirmed; the saving comes from doing the work ourselves with the right expertise on hand.
Option 2 — a professional installation
A proprietary span (for example, Bison bridges), in the region of £25,000–£30,000 plus VAT.
